Nursing Career Advancement Program (NCAP)

Introduction

The Nursing Career Advancement Program (NCAP) is an internationally developed essential career advancing study program through a collaboration between the Institute of Health and Management (IHM) Australia and MWT Global Academy (MWT Global Academy) for nurses in India to upgrade their knowledge, skills and competence in order to enhance their career prospects. This course helps the nurses to upgrade diverse kinds of skills and competencies relevant for the specific job-role in global health industries. The sessions of this program advance skill based learning in different areas of nursing, focusing on the multifaceted role of the nurse in providing patient centered nursing care. The Nurses can extend the applicability of their nursing skills into new job markets to access better pay, more opportunities and enhanced career progression with the aid of this program.

  Module I▲

  Module one (I) includes the core competencies in Nursing

  Duration: 4 Hours x 25 sessions

  Module II▲

  Module two (II) consists of American Heart Association’s courses

  • Basic Life Support
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

  Duration: 25 Hours

  Training Methods: Face to Face

  Module three (III) consists of English Language training. The module will be completely online and candidates have the flexibility in opting either International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or Occupational English Test (OET)

  Specialty Nursing: candidates will have the option to choose one specialty nursing.
